How it works
Every town page is built the same way, so you know exactly what you're looking at.
Questions
How the town pages work, and what to know before you book.
Each page lists the open clinics on our network within 10 miles of the town or city centre, measured in a straight line. Featured clinics are shown first, then the rest in order of distance, and a map shows where they all are.
Because the 10-mile circles overlap. Where towns sit close together, as they do around London, Manchester and Birmingham, one clinic can be within reach of several town centres, so it is listed on each of those pages.
Type your town, village or postcode into the search at the top of this page. It finds the nearest clinics anywhere in the UK, not only in the towns listed here. You can also browse every clinic on the map.
No. Distances are straight-line, from the centre of the town to the clinic, so the journey by road or public transport will be a little longer. Each clinic's page has its full address and a map, which is the best way to judge how easy it is to get to.
Sometimes. NICE guidance says ear wax removal should be offered in primary care or community services when wax is causing hearing loss or other symptoms, but many GP practices no longer provide it and what is available varies by area. Ask your surgery first. Our guide to ear wax removal on the NHS explains who still qualifies.
Prices are set by each clinic and vary across the country. As a rough guide, microsuction for both ears at a UK clinic typically costs between £45 and £100, and home visits cost more. See ear wax removal costs for what is usually included.
