About us

Southern Mobile Earwax Removal are able to clear your ears safely and efficiently in the Portsmouth area.

With over 16 years experience in hearing care, (7 years in earwax removal), our fully qualified and registered hearing aid audiologist can provide earwax removal, specialising in microsuction and water irrigation methods.

This is a mobile service only, at evening and weekends but there are no call out charges in Portsmouth and the surrounding local areas. (Appointments can be arranged outside of these areas for an additional fee).

Appointments can be quick with removal costs being significantly less than many other local providers (5 x less than the most expensive locally and half the cost of others – info correct as of Dec 2018). This is not a cut price service by any means though and our hearing aid audiologist has successfully and safely removed earwax for thousands of people over the last 7 years.

This service is ideal for those who don’t want to take time out of work to have their ears cleared or for those who are not mobile enough to get to a clinic to have this done.

i.e. Care Home, Nursing Homes, Residential Homes.

How Ear Wax Removal in Portsmouth can benefit you

Ear wax is part of our body's natural defence system. It helps to prevent infections of the ear and catches foreign objects which may enter the ear such as dust or debris.

Where as smaller amounts of ear wax are usually fine and maintain the ear canals healthy, larger builds can lead to the ear being blocked, thus reducing hearing capabilities.

Some common symptoms of excessive ear wax are pain, itching of the ear, ringing and hearing loss.

Get your ear wax removed by a professional audiologist in Portsmouth today!

To avoid long term damage to the ear, wax removal should not be attempted at home. Usually this leads to pushing the ear wax further into the ear canal, leading to more hearing loss and pain, and making it more difficult to remove. Avoid self made ear wax removal methods at all costs !
