As a Senior NHS trained Audiologist and Hajirah obtained her degree in Audiology from the University of Leeds. Registered with the HCPC, RCCP and BSHAA. Over 10 years of experience in Audiology, particularly microsuction with an accreditation from the hearing lab. She has worked with hundreds of patients both in the NHS and private sectors and is very passionate about helping people regain confidence in their hearing again. We offer home visit service, as well as a service in clinic at the Sefton Suite wherewe perform ear wax removal by microsuction which is the Gold standard of wax removal.

Before you go

A look inside your ears

The clinician asks about your symptoms, then checks both ears with an otoscope or a microscope before deciding how to remove the wax.
The removal

Microsuction is noisy but rarely painful. Some clinics use warm-water irrigation or a small instrument instead. Allow around half an hour.
Afterwards
